Reserve with Google allows your business to appear as a result on Google search and Google Maps, with booking buttons for clients to reserve appointments with you directly. Reserve with Google is fully integrated with ClinicSoftware, and as an official scheduling provider, any booking made through Google will automatically appear in your calendar. There are no fees if a client books through Reserve with Google, including integrations for Google Search and Maps.
Appearing on Google search results means your business is more likely to get discovered by clients looking to book appointments for services in your area. Around 80% of all new clients will use Google to search for a business or service, and with over 600 million online searches for hair and beauty salons made each month using Google worldwide, making sure your business and services stand out from the competition has never been more important.
To enable Reserve with Google for your business:
- Head to Online Profile and select Reserve with Google.
- If you haven't already, you will need to publish your Marketplace profile to set up Reserve with Google.
- Make sure your location address on ClinicSoftware matches your Google My Business account.
- Click the Enable to activate Reserve with Google for your business and Yes, Enable to confirm.
- Once enabled, your business will appear as a result on Google search and Google Maps, and a booking link will allow clients to book with you directly. It can take up to 48 hours for your business to appear as a result. Booking link not displaying? Your business may not be eligible for Reserve with Google.
Once your business has been listed and a potential client searches for services in your area, the search results will display a booking button alongside your business details, directions, and ratings. Any changes made to your service prices on your ClinicSoftware account can take up to 24 hours to reflect on Google.
NOTE: Any appointments booked through Google will display as Booked on Google on the View Appointment screen under Appointment History. You can also see which appointments have been booked through Google in the Sales by channel report in Analytics.
PRO TIP: Clients aren’t required to accept your no-show policy when booking through Reserve with Google, but they will receive an email asking them to confirm with card and accept your no-show policy.
To disable Reserve with Google for your business:
- Head to Online Profile and select Reserve with Google.
- Click Disable to deactivate Reserve with Google for your business and Yes, disable to confirm.
- Once disabled, your business will no longer appear as a result on Google search and Google Maps, and the direct booking link will be removed. It can take up to 48 hours for your business to be removed.
